The ASA240 is a powerful analog signature analyser for in-circuit testing of electronic components and PCBAs. Power-off testing with the ASA240 analog signature analyser is a simple way to diagnose faulty components on a PCBA. When connected to a PC via USB, you can quickly analyse components in a circuit and look for tell-tale faulty signatures. The ASA240 also features a built-in switching multiplexer (40x2), to facilitate the testing of multiple electronic components and PCBAs
In ‘advanced’ mode, you can efficiently capture signatures of an entire PCBA (‘golden board’) and compare with a suspect PCBA to find areas/components that contain faults. Golden PCBA signatures can be stored for later use (as can suspect PCBA signatures).
