Measurements of RF circuits with an ordinary probe are not ideal because these probes can influence the behaviour of the circuit. This problem
does not occur with this probe because it has a high impedance and low capacitance. The probe has a large bandwidth of
0.1-1500 MHz which makes it suitable for a wide range of measurement purposes.
The probe can be used by connecting it, with the included SMA-SMA cable, to an oscilloscope and feeding it with
an external power supply. It is also important that the "ground" connection on the probe is close to the point on the circuit to be measured.
