This triggering option allows for triggering on an entire packet. This allows for easier analysis of complex packet based protocols. The option is compatible with all Zeroplus analysers.
The use of this option can be explained through for example the I2C protocol.
This protocol consists of the following 'packets': "START, ADDRESS, READ, WRITE, A-ACK, DATA, D-ACK, D-NACK, A-NACK, ERROR and STOP". When the triggering is set to for example DATA = 4A, the logic analyser will trigger upon receiving a data value of 4A.
The advantage of this trigger method is that the device can now trigger on a serial data value instead of only on a transition from 'low'(0) to 'high'(1) or 'high' to 'low'.
