The UNI-T UT81C handheld multimeter/oscilloscope is not available any more. Owon HDS25 handheld oscilloscope is a good alternative to the UT81C.
The UT81C is a hand-held scope/multimeter with a very good price/quality ratio. The model offers a 4,000-count display with an update speed of 3 times per second. In addition, it is also a 16 MHz scope with 8-bits vertical resolution and 1,000 Vp-p range.
The multimeter offers True-RMS” functionalities and can perform three measurements per second at the 4,000-count resolution. Besides that, the meter can store up to 10 samples, which can be retrieved later. The meter offers auto-range and has a broad measuring range. The display can show multiple measurements simultaneously.
Apart from the multimeter, the UT81C also provides a 16 MHz oscilloscope. This samples the signal with 80 MS/s and can display it on the screen from 20 mV/div onwards.
The UT81C comes with a USB cable that allows you to connect the scope/multimeter to a computer. With the included software, the multimeter can be used for multiple applications. This way data can be logged, or a Pass/Fail evaluation can be done.
This product is covered by a 3-year warranty and can therefore be used with confidence for a longer period of time.
