The UNI-T UT572 is an advanced earth resistance tester designed for accurate measurements of earth resistance and soil resistivity. It supports 2,3 and 4-wire measurements, making it suitable for various applications, including power equipment wiring and lightning protection systems.
The UT572 also features automatic interface connection checks and interference voltage/frequency detection, ensuring reliable and precise readings. It is also capable of measuring ground voltage and soil resistivity over distances ranging from 1 to 40 meters.
The UT572 can perform several types of tests:
- 2-Wire earth resistance measurement: This test is used to measure the resistance of the earth connection with two test leads.
- 3-Wire earth resistance measurement: This method provides more accurate results by using three test leads to eliminate the influence of the resistance of the test leads themselves.
- 4-Wire earth resistance measurement: This method further enhances accuracy by using four test leads, which is ideal for precise measurements in professional applications.
- Soil resistivity measurement: This test measures the resistivity of the soil, which is crucial for determining the suitability of the ground for installing grounding systems.
