The UT18C from UNI-T is a voltage tester and detector. This meter simplifies the task of measuring DC and AC voltages. A voltage measurement can be done either by a 1-pole or 2-pole measurement. Furthermore, the UT18C has different measuring functions such as, rotary field check, voltage tests, continuity tests, etc. In addition, this meter is also equipped with an LED work light to illuminate the working surface. The voltage tester features an auto shutdown mode to preserve battery. If the battery does get empty, the meter notifies the user so a replacement can be installed.
