Details

The Thermaltronics TMT-2000S is a compact soldering station that utilises Curie Heat Technology at 470kHz to heat ferromagnetic material within the tip. When the material reaches its Curie temperature, it loses its magnetic properties and heating stops automatically, creating a self-regulating system that maintains a steady tip temperature. This physical process ensures precision without the need for manual temperature adjustments or calibration.

By responding instantaneously to the thermal mass of the component and substrate, the station delivers the exact amount of energy required for each joint. This makes the system equally effective for delicate fine-pitch SMD work and larger through-hole connections, providing great results across a wide range of applications. This streamlined approach provides consistent performance while eliminating the complexity and maintenance associated with traditional active or passive heating soldering stations.
