The Tekbox TBCDNE-M2 is a coupling decoupling network (CDN) specifically used for measuring radiated emissions of lighting equipment, in accordance with the EN55015 standard. It avoids the need for emission measurements on Open Area Test Sites (OATS).
When compared to regular CDNs, CDNEs have reduced common mode (CM) impedance tolerance, additional parameters for CM phase tolerance and differential mode impedance equal to 100Ω. A minimum 20dB for longitudinal conversion loss shall prevent symmetrical voltage influencing measurement results. However, unlike CDNs, CDNEs are not suitable for immunity measurements.
Please note: The TBCDNE-M3 is used for measuring EUTs with PE (Earth) connections. Please use the TBCDNE-M2 model for EUTs without PE connections.
