Details

The Tekbox TBMHA1 is a mains harmonics current coupler, designed for compliance and pre-compliance measurements to standards such as IEC 61000-3-2. A REO WKO/CL-P25 AC/DC compensated wideband current transformer sits inside the housing, with the mains line passing through its core aperture. Furthermore, this coupler converts the load current into a proportional output current of 1mA/A, which an EMI receiver or spectrum analyser then reads via the BNC current output.

The TBMHA1 requires an external shunt resistor to convert the output current into a voltage. A 50Ω feed-through termination on the BNC port gives a 50mV/A transducer factor, and the DC to 150kHz range covers the harmonic content of practically every mains-powered device under test. The EU variant ships with a 16A C19 input and a Schuko (CEE7/3) output socket.
