This wideband amplifier from Tekbox is designed to create an inexpensive signal source for immunity testing. The amplifier
can be connected to the tracking generator output of a spectrum analyzer. The output power of the tracking generator
can be amplified up to 8W with this amplifier. This makes this amplifier ideal to drive field probes or generate electrical fields with a TEM cell.
The test signals can be CW, AM or PM modulated. Furthermore, the TBMDA3B offers a built-in modulation possibility to generate 1kHz AM-/PM signals.
In PM mode, the amplifier can also generate a 217 Hz signal with a duty cycle of 12.5% to simulate the TDMA noise of a mobile phone.
With a frequency range from 10 MHz to 1 GHz it is an ideal complement to the TBMDA4B, which covers 100 kHz to 75 MHz.
WARNING:
Never connect the output of the TBMDA3B directly to the input of a spectrum analyzer. Check the maximum input ratings of the spectrum analyzer and protect it with an appropriate attenuator. Open or shorted load is not recommended, can potentially cause damage.
