The Tekbox TBL5016-1 16A is a LISN (Line Impedance Stabilization Network) that can be used to measure
the 'conducted noise' on the supply line of DC-/AC-powered devices. This LISN is designed to perform
EMC pre-compliance tests in the frequency range from 9 kHz to 100 MHz. The TBL5016-1 16A can supply
the DUT (Device Under Test) with a maximum continuous DC current of 16 A. The connection of the power supply
and the DUT are decoupled by a 50 µH inductor. The LISN is a 50Ω/50µH+5Ω single line design with a high current jumper to short the 5Ω resistor and configure
it as 50Ω/50µH LISN according to CISPR 16-1-2
The LISN is connected to the supply line of a DUT. The resulting noise on the supply line can be
measured by means of a spectrum analyser on the BNC connector. Two Tekbox TBL5016-1 16A in combination
with the Tekbox LISN Mate
ensure that not only the 'common mode', but also the 'differential mode' of the noise can be
measured. The TBL5016-1 16A complies with EMC directives CISPR 16-1-2 and MIL-STD-461F.
