The Tekbox TBL0550-1 is a 60V 50A LISN (Line Impedance Stabilization Network) that can be used to measure the 'conducted noise' on the supply line of DC-powered devices. This LISN is designed to perform EMC pre-compliance tests in the frequency range from 150 kHz to 110 MHz. The TBL0550-1 can supply the DUT (Device Under Test) with a maximum DC current of 50 A. The connection of the power supply and the DUT are disconnected by a 5 µH inductor. The 1μF capacitor can be disconnected internally by removing a jumper.
The LISN is connected to the supply line of a DUT. The resulting noise on the supply line can be measured by means of a spectrum analyser on the BNC connector. Two Tekbox TBL0550-1 in combination with the Tekbox LISN Mate ensure that not only the 'common mode', but also the 'differential mode' of the noise can be measured. The TBL0550-1 complies with EMC directives CISPR 16-1-2, CISPR-25, EN55025, MIL-STD-461F and ISO11452-4 with limitations DO-160/ED-14G and ISO 7637-2.
