T-EMCompass AAN/ISN T8
Details
The T-EMCompass AAN/ISN T8 is a Belgian-made ISN, with two RJ45 connectors allowing it to have one connector connect to the EUT (equipment under test) and the other to connect to the AE (associated equipment). Due to the way it is connected, the ISN is inserted in‑line in the Ethernet cable between both devices. It can be used with 1-4 unbalanced unshielded pairs and is suitable for 10/100Mb and 1Gb Ethernet applications. It creates a controlled impedance environment and extracts the common‑mode noise generated by the EUT so that it can be measured by an EMI receiver or spectrum analyser.
The device has the ability to perform conducted emission measurements from 150kHz to 30MHz, allowing it to be used for PoE applications (Power over Ethernet) and pre-compliance measurements. The device is intended for unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables only. This device is a price-friendly alternative to the Tekbox TBISN-T4. Calibration values are included with the AAN/ISN T8.
