Details
The Stirri Hydra-UHF-TF is a REL0 soldering flux. Designed for universal applications by hot air at all temperatures, the Hydra-UHF-TF provides a high-performance, REACH-compliant flux for professional repair specialists and engineers. The Hydra-UHF-TF flux features optimal viscosity and leaves a completely clear residue. The flux is compatible with hot air rework stations and is made to be used with solder paste. Flux ensures good adhesion to most PCB finishes by negating the effect of solder oxidation, which helps achieve reliable solder joints. Additionally, the Stirri UHF-TF features the proprietary QC-Aid UV tracer, making it easy to check for leftover residue. This flux is not a no-clean type. It can be left on the board for next day assembly, but the residue then needs to be cleaned off with IPA. Because the flux is water-soluble, cleaning is easy with warm DI water or IPA. The Hydra flux is halogen-free.
This soldering flux is the original Stirri product made in the USA. Stirri is the new name for the products which use the original Amtech recipe.
The Stirri Hydra-UHF-TF comes with an amber syringe in 10g. Amber syringes protect the flux from UV radiation and thus ensure a longer flux lifespan than the clear syringes.
