The Stirri ASM-063 T5 is a no-clean ROL0 solder paste. This solder paste is made using the Stirri ASM-TF solder flux. The ASM-063 provides a high-quality leaded solder paste for professional repair specialists and engineers. The Stirri ASM-063 T5 is a type 5 solder paste with a particle size of 15-25µm, contains a solder powder with a composition of 63% tin and 37% lead and has a melting point of 183℃. The flux in the solder paste ensures good adhesion to most PCB finishes by negating the effect of oxidation of solder, which helps achieve reliable solder joints. The solder paste leaves a clear residue and is not corrosive, so it can be left on the PCB. Furthermore, the ASM-063 T5 features the proprietary QC-Aid UV tracer, making it easy to check for leftover residue. Cleaning of residue is easy with any generic IPA and most solvents. The tube can also be combined with a 5cc plunger for manual dispensing.
To ensure the maximum lifespan, the solder paste must be stored in the refrigerator between 3-8℃. The paste comes in a 20g syringe.
This solder paste is the original Stirri product made in the USA. Stirri is the new name for the products which use the original Amtech recipe.
