The Rohde & Schwarz SMB100B is an accurate and highly customisable radio frequency (RF) / microwave (MW) signal generator. It is capable of a frequency range from 8kHz up to 40GHz depending on the chosen frequency range option. This product is an ideal choice for a wide range of applications in R&D, production, service and maintenance.
Besides pure signals, many additional options are available. For instance, the SMBB-K720 can generate amplitude, frequency and phase modulated signals. Or with the SMBB-K27 pulse train option, users can generate single pulses, double pulses and configurable pulse trains.

This product cannot be used without a frequency range option. The base unit does not include any frequency capability.
To operate the Rohde & Schwarz SMB100B, at least one of the following frequency options is required:
- SMBB-B101 (8 kHz - 1 GHz) – excl. VAT
- SMBB-B103 (8 kHz - 3 GHz) – excl. VAT
- SMBB-B106 (8 kHz - 6 GHz) – excl. VAT
