The Siglent SMM3312X is a dual-channel precision source measure unit (SMU) that simultaneously outputs and measures voltage and current on two independent channels. It combines a current source, voltage source, voltmeter, and ammeter per channel, making it well-suited for semiconductor characterisation, component testing, and materials research where two measurement points are needed.
With ±210V/3.03A DC output capability per channel, 6½-digit resolution (2,100,000 count), and 10fA/100nV minimum programming and measurement resolution, the SMM3312X delivers performance comparable to instruments at significantly higher price points. Pulse mode supports ±10.5A with a minimum pulse width of 50µs, enabling accurate characterisation of power semiconductors such as GaN and SiC devices. The dual-channel configuration allows simultaneous sourcing and measurement on two-terminal or multi-terminal devices. The SMU also supports remote control, making it accessible both through a web browser and the display.
