The Rohde & Schwarz UDS500 is a 5½-digit True-RMS digital multimeter, part of the UDS series. This multimeter features a high, hassle-free accuracy with a basic DC accuracy of 0.015%, up to 100kHz frequency range and a 3.5” display with three measurement readouts, for confidence in your measurements. Furthermore, the UDS series offers excellent compatibility with SCPI commands for remote control, as well as USB/LAN, along with long-term data logging capabilities.
The R&S UDS multimeter series replaces the popular R&S HMC8012 and is completely code compatible, meaning any code which worked for the HMC8012 will also work with the UDS series.
The device is capable of performing DCV, DCI, True-RMS, ACV and ACI, frequency, two-wire and four-wire resistance, capacitance, continuity test, diode test, temperature, and power measurements. Finally, the UDS500 has industry-standard compliant DMM safety measures, integrated protection functions and automatic shutdown if the internal shunt is overloaded, such that your equipment is safe.
