The Rohde & Schwarz HMP4040COM consists of:

  • HMP4040 4 channel power supply

The Rohde & Schwarz HMP4040 power supply belongs to the HMP series and has 4 channels and a power of 384W. All four channels have an output voltage of 0-32V and an output current of 0-10A.

The Rohde & Schwarz HMP series are programmable DC power supplies. All channels can be connected in parallel as well as in series so that a higher current or voltage can be achieved. The power supplies have a high accuracy due to the low resolution and because of the built-in linear regulators, a low ripple is present. The HMP series power supplies also have voltage and current protection (OVP and OCP). The voltage protection can be set separately for each channel. The power supplies have EasyArb, with which the time/current flow or time/voltage curve can be programmed.

All connectors on the front side can also be found on the backside. This is useful when the power supply is mounted in a rack but it also offers advantages in other applications.
