The Rohde & Schwarz HMC8012 series are 5-¾ digit True-RMS multimeters with very high precision and various professional features. Because of the high resolution the meter can measure very large ranges very precisely. Three measurements can be displayed simultaneously on the large TFT screen.
Examples of measurements that can be made are DC and AC voltage and current, frequency, 2- and 4-wire resistance measurements and various others. In addition, there is a large selection of math functions such as min/max, performance and dB calculations.
The meters have USB-TMC and Ethernet/LXI connectors, and can optionally be equipped with a GPIB connector. Via the USB connector it is possible to log data on a USB stick for a longer period of time. It is also possible to operate the devices remotely via LAN or USB via Labview, for example.
