The Rohde & Schwarz AMN6500 is a two-line V-network LISN for conducted disturbance voltage measurements on single-phase equipment under test (EUT). It provides a standardised (50µH + 5Ω) || 50Ω impedance across 9kHz to 30MHz, making it suitable for measurements in line with CISPR, EN, VDE, ANSI, FCC Part 15 and MIL-STD-461 standards.
Compared to simpler LISNs such as the Tekbox TBL5016-2C, the AMN6500 offers a more complete feature set: a built-in 10dB attenuator pad (ensuring standard-compliant impedance regardless of receiver input attenuation), a switchable 150kHz high-pass filter (to prevent receiver overdriving from low-frequency spectra), an artificial hand connector for simulating the effect of a human hand on handheld EUTs, and a switchable pulse limiter protecting the receiver input. TTL-level remote control inputs allow full integration into automated test systems and are directly compatible with Rohde & Schwarz test receivers. Optocouplers prevent external interference from entering through the control port.
