The Rigol RSA3030E is a real-time spectrum analyzer in the RSA3000E series.
A real-time spectrum analyzer uses the Fast
Fourier Transform to convert the signal from the time domain to the frequency domain. This ensures that
short and fast signals can be captured better. This mode guarantees not to miss any signal with a duration longer than 7.45 µs. Besides the real-time mode these analyzers also have the 'sweep' mode with which
In addition to the real-time mode, these analyzers also have a sweep mode with which a complete analysis of the signal can be done in 1 ms.
Low-power signals such as harmonics and interference sources are well displayed and easy to troubleshoot due to the low Displayed Average Noise Level of these analyzers.
It is also easy, due to the low minimum resolution bandwidth of 1 Hz,
to separate signals with frequencies close to each other. Furthermore, there are 7 real-time visualization modes
and the analyzers have powerful trigger capabilities.
The analyzers in this series feature a large 10.1" multi-touch screen for easy operation. In addition
it is also possible to connect a keyboard, mouse, monitor or PC to control the analyzers.
The difference between the RSA3000E and RSA3000 series is that the RSA3000E series does not have an upgradable RBW, while the RSA3000 series does.
The models within the RSA3000E series differ mainly in frequency range. The models with -TG in the name come with a built-in tracking generator. The specifications for the tracking generator can be found under the heading tracking generator'.
