The Rigol PIA1020 is an isolated probe from Rigol that can measure small and large voltages, with a bandwidth of 200 MHz and a common mode up to 85kVpk. The probes are compatible with a select range of Rigol oscilloscopes, such as the MSO8000, DHO4000 and MHO/DHO5000 series. If you are looking for a universally applicable probe, consider the Micsig SigOFIT probes.
With this probe it becomes very easy to measure a gate signal at a high-side FET or IGBT at 600V or even at 1200V, which previously was almost impossible. This probe is indispensable for the development of circuits with SiC & GaN technology, as it suppresses the oscillation caused by high-frequency common-mode noise without the use of redundant components. Furthermore, the PIA1020 has a very low input impedance of <1pF, a very high common mode rejection ratio up to 180dB and a very accurate DC gain of 1%.
