The XDS series is Owon's new product line based on the successful SDS series. The performance is excellent, with a memory depth of 40 Megapoints and 75 000 waveforms per second update speed.
The most striking feature is the ability to choose the A-version, which has a 12 bit ADC on board instead of the usual 8 bit. The 8-bit variant can be seen here. Only more resolution wouldn't have any added value if we didn't also work on the noise floor. And Owon didn't forget this. The vertical sensitivity starts at this scope not at 5mV but at 1mV, and continues to 10V/div.
