The XDS series is an Owon product line based on the successful SDS series. The performance is excellent, with a memory depth of 40MB and 75,000 wfm/s update speed.
The most striking thing, however, is the possibility to choose an ADC of 12 bit instead of the usual 8 bit. Models with an 'A' behind it are equipped with an ADC of 12 bits. The XDS3102A can be seen here. Only more resolution wouldn't have any added value if we didn't also work on the noise floor. And Owon didn't forget this. The vertical sensitivity does not start at 5mV but at 1mV, and continues until 10V/div.
SCPI is also supported to remotely control the scope and to read it from your own application. Finally, there is standard support for multi-trigger.
In the video below you can see the difference between an 8-bit converter and a 12-bit analog-digital converter.
