Micsig RCP600XS AC current probe

The Micsig RCP600XS is a precision Rogowski AC probe designed for engineers needing high-frequency, accurate current measurements in compact spaces. With a measurement range of up to 600A peak and a bandwidth of 10Hz to 30MHz, this probe is ideal for dynamic testing, harmonic analysis, and observing the switching behaviours of MOSFETs and IGBTs.

To observe the switching behaviour of MOSFETs and IGBTs, the probe can be used in double-pulse testing to measure the pin currents of devices made from materials such as SiC and GaN. The RCP series offers excellent high-frequency measurement capabilities, making it well-suited for measuring the drain current (Id) of MOSFETs. It can accurately capture high-speed signals and rapidly changing current waveforms, which is essential for analysing high-frequency harmonic components.

Featuring a 10mV/A output sensitivity (100x) and a thin 1.6mm flexible Rogowski coil, the probe easily navigates tight, crowded circuit environments like TO-220 and TO-47 packages. The probe maintains a consistent droop of ±1% across the entire measurement range. Due to its Rogowski coil construction, the probe is free from magnetic saturation and hysteresis effects, providing stable and precise measurements even for extremely fast-changing currents. Additionally, it ensures minimal phase shift, with a phase difference of less than 0.8°, making it ideal for sensitive power electronics analysis. The RCP300XS has a universal BNC interface for direct oscilloscope compatibility, and its lightweight design makes it suitable for field measurements.
