The Metrel MI 2885 Master Q4 power quality analyser is a handheld multifunction instrument for power quality analysis and energy efficiency measurements. The MI 2885 fully complies with power quality standard IEC 61000-4-30 Class S. The analyser allows simultaneous voltage and current (8 channels) sampling, and 16-bit AD conversion for accurate power measurements and minimal phase shift error. The 4 voltage channels in the MI 2885 have a wide measurement range of up to 1000Vrms, CAT III / 1000V, with support for medium and high voltage systems.
The MI 2885 performs a full analysis of unbalance and flicker as well as harmonics up to the 50th order for advanced interpretation of system performance. The MI 2885 also has a transient recorder with envelope and level trigger. An 8GB micro-SD is supplied as standard and this allows over a year of continuous monitoring. The Metrel PC SW PowerView 3 is supplied as standard and is an integral part of a measuring system which provides the easiest way to download, view and analyse measured data or print reports.
