JBC RBSM-2A multiaxis rework bench

The JBC RBSM-2A multiaxis rework bench is an IR preheater set for preheating PCBs or components. This is a complete set consisting of the PHSE-2KB IR preheater set, including the PHS-SA IR preheater support, PH218 thermocouple type K and Kapton tape, bundled together with the PSS-A multiaxis rotative PCB support and the RHS-A adjustable rework arm. As you are used to from JBC, this set is also of the highest quality.

The primary function of a preheater is to mitigate the thermal shock that can be caused by direct (de)soldering. The preheater comes with 3 standard temperature profiles and has room for up to 20 custom temperature profiles, which can be set with 4 steps in temperature. The PHSE-2KB has two zones, each with a working area of 65x130 mm, and can be heated independently of each other. The temperature can be set between 50°C and 250°C and can be measured accurately using the thermocouple. There are 4 type-K ports available.

The PHS-SA preheater support can also be used separately from the preheater as an aid for rework. The Kapton tape can be used for attaching the thermocouple to the circuit board or components. With the interface, it is possible to connect accessories, such as the JBC traceability system or a pedal. The console is used to monitor and control the temperature and is equipped with a USB port.

PSS-A multiaxis rotative PCB support

The PSS-A is designed to support and fix PCBs to perform soldering and desoldering jobs with or without preheaters. The support can hold PCBs up to 13x13cm. One of the strengths of this support is the ability to rotate and angle the PCB up at either 25º, 35º, 45º or 55º, and even upside down. The height can also be increased by 10mm or 22.5mm to accommodate other differently sized preheaters.

RHS-A adjustable rework arm

The JBC RHS-A is an adjustable handrest that allows for easier and more accurate soldering. The right hand is continuously supported at a set height, while it can still move freely in several directions. The hand support is ideal for industrial use; it makes soldering more comfortable, ensuring a more relaxed hand position.
