The iFixit Tesa double-sided mounting tape is indispensable when repairing products. It is mainly used when repairing phones and tablets. It is a black, double-sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a PET backing and modified acrylic as an adhesive layer. We prefer this Tesa tape over the original 'Red tape'.
The tape can be used immediately after application to a surface. It can be used outdoors and is perfect for applications where high tensile strength and/or high temperature are involved.
Be careful when applying the tape, as soon as it comes into contact with a surface, it is also very difficult to loosen the tape again.
