These Hirschmann AK 2 B 2540 I clamps are solid insulated crocodile clamps. These Hirschmann clamps are bigger than common clamps allowing them to open wider and easier. Based on the 4mm pin system they can be connected to most standard cables. Due to the flat part at the end, even the thinnest cables can be firmly secured between these clamps. Because of the powerful spring, the contact resistance is very small; only 10mΩ. The clamp is made of nickel, which has a low resistance. The terminals are tested to withstand voltages of 1000V AC/DC and currents of 32A (CAT II). They are supplied in the colours red and black.
