The Hioki IR4056-20 is a 5-range, 50V to 1000V digital insulation resistance tester. The tester has 5 different test modes, ranging from 50V to 1000V where it measures the insulation resistance. Additionally, the device has a single test mode or continuity test, where a threshold can be set manually. The device delivers an immediate pass/fail indication after testing. Furthermore, the IR4056-20 features a voltage and resistance meter. It is recommended to perform AC/DC measurements beforehand to ensure the voltage is measured accurately and matches the optimal testing range. Finally, the IR4056 is delivered inside a robust casing and is intuitive to use, which makes it ideal for tests in the field performed by technicians.
