The Hakko FT-720 is a quick soldering tip cleaner that can clean a tip in less than a second. The brushes automatically start rotating when the infrared sensor detect the tip. The tip cleaner can clean a variety of different tips and minimizes the temperature drop. Furthermore, the tip cleaner reduces the scattering of solder balls. The FT-720 comes with the fluoroplastic brush, but other brushes available are the metal and the resin brush.
