Gray cleaning sponge for the FH-800 soldering iron holder that comes e.g. with the Hakko FX-888D soldering station . Comes with two splits to make sure it perfectly fits the holder and it will remain tightly into position.

One of the two main functions is the removal of the oxides on the tip and the removal of the excess soldering tin from the soldering tip, which keeps the tip nice and clean and is therefore better and more comfortable to work with during your soldering job.
