The GW Instek SPS-1820A is a high-quality, single-channel, switching DC power supply designed for reliable use in educational, laboratory and industrial environments. The power supply has a voltage range of 0 to 18V and a current range of 0 to 20A, making it suitable for powering electronic assemblies and production test setups. The device uses front-panel safety terminals for convenient bench connections, while the rear terminals support permanent wiring.
Remote sensing with selectable 2-wire or 4-wire operation compensates for voltage drops in the test leads. The SPS-1820A also provides constant-voltage and constant-current operation, three save/recall memories and a clear 2.4-inch colour display. Finally, there are standard safety features present, such as: panel locking, output On/Off control, and adjustable over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection.
