The GW Instek SPS-1230A is a high-quality single-channel switching DC power supply designed for reliable use in educational and laboratory environments. It delivers up to 12V and 30A from a 360W platform, making it suitable for powering electronic assemblies and production test setups. The device uses front-panel safety terminals for convenient bench connections, while the rear terminals support permanent wiring.
Remote sensing with selectable 2-wire or 4-wire operation compensates for voltage drops in the test leads. The SPS-1230A also provides constant-voltage and constant-current operation, three save/recall memories and a clear 2.4-inch colour display. Adjustable OVP, OCP and OTP protection, panel locking, and output On/Off control support safe and dependable long-term operation.
