The LCR-8110G by GW Instek is the high-end model LCR meter for usage in a lab environment. De LCR-8110G series offers a high precision of 0.1%. This allows for high precision measurements of LCR values of circuits. even at the slowest and most precise setting the measurements of the LCR-8110G are completed in 600ms. This allows for easy and quick analysis of circuits.
The meter can display two values simultaneously, for example it can display both the R and the C value of the circuit in one screen.
These devices offer the functionality that measurements can be done in succession automatically by programming the device. This allows for easy execution of tedious repetitive measurements. Apart from that it is possible to give a pass or fail indication for each test. By inputting the demands the connected circuit should meet into the meter, the device can easily check if the circuit meets specifications. Another feature is that the LCR-8110g can make a plot of impulse response compared to either frequency or voltage. This allows for easy viewing of impedance over a larger range of frequencies or voltages.
The meter can be connected via RS232C or GPIB to a computer. With the free software the user can easily display and store measured data on the computer.
