GW Instek GPT-15012 Hi-pot tester
Details
The new flagship GW Instek GPT-15012 Hi-pot tester complies with the IEC 61010-2-034 standard. It is able to perform DC withstanding and insulation resistance tests. This Hi-pot tester is an excellent choice because it offers a vast array of features such as RMS current measurement, zero crossing turn-on operation, sweep function for DUT characteristics analysis and a statistics/analysis function This Hi-pot can test at high voltages up to 12 kV for DC withstanding tests and 5 kV for insulation resistance tests. The GPT-15012 has a test capacity of 1000 VA and a capacitive load testing capability of up to 47 μF whilst maintaining a high accuracy/resolution and unmatched safety.
For a Hi-pot with similar specifications but a lower maximum rated load you can look at earlier GPT-15000 series products. For a Hi-pot tester with fewer capabilities such as no USB storage, no GC function, a smaller screen, and no data memory, you can look at the GPT-9900 or GPT-9800 series.
