GW Instek GAG-810 audio generator
Details
The GW Instek GAG-810 audio generator is not a typical function generator. Instead of offering a display and thousands of options, it can only generate sine waves and square waves up to 1MHz.
The simple interface of the GAG-810 makes it an ideal choice for educational purposes. There are no hidden settings which the student can set incorrectly. The built-in attenuator with dB scale makes usage convenient within the audio domain, where dB is commonly used.
The device maintains minimal distortion with a factor of 0.02% or less for 500Hz to 20kHz. You will find no BNC connectors on this function generator, but only 4mm banana terminals are common in education and robust and reliable. A sync input on the rear completes this audio generator.
