The Fnirsi SAG-55 is a portable hot air soldering gun that is an affordable solution for hot air soldering and rework tasks. The hot air gun has no station, meaning the gun is directly controlled via the 1.54" display. The hot air gun is directly powered by a 550W power adapter, which cannot be disconnected from the gun. Moreover, the gun heats up to 450°C with an adjustable step size, and has 20 levels of adjustable airflow, with a maximum flow of 80L/min. The hot air gun features three configurable presets, enabling quick adjustment of temperature and airflow at the press of a single button.
The SAG-55 is supplied with a firm stand which automatically puts the gun in standby mode when placed in the stand. The build quality of the gun is lower than other hot air stations, as it has a plastic feel. For a station with a higher build quality, see theAtten ST-862D. Finally, the hot air gun comes with only one 6mm nozzle.
