The CTL503 curve tracer is an affordable computer controlled measurement system for bipolar transistors, FETs, MOSFETs, diodes, zeners and triacs.
Capable of measuring devices to 100V and upto 3A curve (using base or collector pulsing) as well as much smaller base and collector voltages (multiple collector and base resistor ranges, adjustable peak voltage/current limiters), the CTL503 will trace curves in more useful areas than any other device short of a pair of SMU’s.
Our free software provides control and graphing for many types of curves (Vce vs Ic, Ib vs Ic, hFE, etc..) as well as automatically storing data (CSV) and graphs (PNG) format for detailed analysis and inclusion in reports. Constant development of the PC software keeps increasing the CTL503’s functionality.
Powered via the supplied 12V 1.5A mains adaptor (interchangeable connector for UK, EU, USA/CA and AU/NZ) the CTL503 connects to a PC via USB (cable supplied). Also included is a resistor calibration token (CTL033) and an SMT test token (CTL011).
Compatible with the CS001 ZIF transistor adapter for quick and reliable transistor connection during testing.
