Details
The CEM DT-9989 is an all-in-one digital multimeter. Not only does it contain a multimeter that can measure true-RMS, but it also has an entire oscilloscope function built-in. With an IP67, a CATIII 1000V and a CATIV 600V rating, the meter is very robust. The multimeter can not only measure the common DC and AC voltage/current signals, but it is also suited for frequency, capacitance, resistance, duty cycles, and temperature measurements. However, this multimeter is not only confined to measuring only DC or only AC signals, it can also be used for AC+DC signals. Furthermore, It also supports diode tests, continuity checks, and insulation tests. The oscilloscope part of the meter also includes a peak capture function to detect small pulse details that may be lost with normal sampling techniques. The DT-9989 also comes with software called Meterbox. Meterbox enables cloud storage, cloud computing, and Bluetooth file transfer to other devices such as PCs and smartphones. This is a function which other multimeters simply do not offer. Meterbox enables real-time data-recording, data charting, and data sharing.
