Automatic 12V 1.5A battery charger for lead-acid batteries

Automatic battery charger for 12V and 1.5A lead-acid batteries. The charger has a 3-phase charging cycle. In phase 1 the battery is quickly charged up to 70% with the maximum charging current. In phase 2 the battery is charged up to 90% and the charging current is reduced to a minimum. In this way the internal energy is transferred in an optimal way. In the final stage, the charging current is maintained at a constant level until the battery is fully charged. The charger then stops charging automatically so that the battery is not overloaded.
