A barlow lens can be mounted at the bottom of the microscopes objective.

This 0.5x barlow lens halves the magnification of the microscope and doubles the working distance (the distance between the objective and the stage). Therefore a 7x - 45x microscope with this barlow lens would become a 3.5x - 22.5x microscope.

Outer diameter lens is 50 mm, out diameter screw thread 47.50 mm.
