A Barlow lens is mounted underneath the objective of the microscope. This 0.3x Barlow lens reduces the microscope’s magnification and increases the working distance (the distance between the objective and the stage).

Note: The microscope can only be focused when used with this Barlow lens if it is fully raised and zoomed out.
