The Rohde & Schwarz Cable Rider ZPH-COM2 is a two-port handheld cable and antenna analyser. It has all the essential measurement capabilities required for installing and maintaining antenna systems out in the field. Its unique features ensure fast and efficient cable and antenna measurements and spectrum analysis. It features a large colour touchscreen and large keypad designed for extra convenience.
This model differs from the regular model in a few ways. The single-port model has DTF, reflection measurement and single-port cable loss CAT functionality, but the two-port model features even more. Not only does it support two-port transmission measurements, it also features spectrum and interference analysis. Furthermore, it has the ability to demodulate AM, FM, ASK and FSK signals. To top it off with signal strength mapping, this product packs a lot of features in its compact handheld design. Combined with a 9-hour battery life and ruggedised housing (IP51), it is perfectly suited to survive field use conditions.
You can hook up the ZPH to a commercially available wireless router (not included) and use apps on your phone or tablet to remote control the analyser. More traditional USB connection is also an option. The required driver comes with the R&S InstrumentView software package.
