The Tekbox LISN Mate is a device that can be used in conjunction with a Line Impedance Stabilisation Network. The noise signal that is analyzed with a LISN consists of the sum of a 'common mode' and a 'differential mode' component. These two components can be split up and evaluated on a separate BNC port.
The LISN Mate is connected, as shown in the second picture, to the outputs of two LISNs that are placed in the positive and negative power supply line of the device being tested. Via the two other BNC ports, the Mate can be connected with a spectrum analyzer to analyze the common and differential mode signals.
