JBC TESE-2B precision hot-air soldering station

The JBC TESE-2B is a hot-air soldering station for precision work and repair of small and medium SMD components. The station consists of a control unit, hot-air tool, tool stand, extractor desk and a complete accessories set with extractors, protectors, tripods, suction cups and nozzles. In addition to the standard manual mode, the station has a number of built-in profiles that enable rework tasks to be carried out with maximum precision. You can also create your own profiles with which the temperature and airflow values are controlled. By means of a thermocouple it is possible to achieve very precise temperature control of a component or PCB. Herewith it is also possible to protect certain parts or specific spots on a PCB against overheating.
At this station, the TE-TB hot air tool is supplied together with three straight, small nozzles. The tool stand detects when this rework tool is inserted into the holder and immediately activates the automatic rework tool's standby mode. This stand-by mode ensures better workplace safety and longer life of the nozzles and hot-air tool. Furthermore, the stand also has a 'quick nozzle changer' which makes it possible to quickly and safely change nozzles, even if they're still warm.

The set of accessories has all the necessities for reworking PCBs and components. When a component needs to be removed from a PCB, this can be done automatically with the manual or tripod extractors. These extractors have a suction cup that attaches itself to the component in question. After the soldering tin is melted the component is automatically lifted by the extractor.
This set also contains separate protector 'trays' that can be placed around the component to be machined so to protect the rest of the PCB or other components from hot air. These protectors and extractors can easily and conveniently be placed in the supplied extractor desk.
