JBC NASE-2C nano (de-)soldering station

The JBC NASE-2C rework station is a high-end soldering station specifically designed for small components that require high precision. Two soldering tools can be connected and used simultaneously. The included soldering iron and tweezers are ideal for small-scale work such as soldering with, for example, 0402, 0201 or 01005 components.

Rework station

The station offers both connected tools a power of 14 Watt, which is more than sufficient for the applications for which the soldering tools are intended. The temperature can be set separately for both soldering irons. The JBC NASE-2C has various settings, including a sleep mode, which can be changed via the menu. The sleep mode automatically reduces the tip temperature when the soldering tool is in the holder. When the set time for the sleep mode is up, the station automatically goes to hibernation. The power supply is cut and the tip remains at room temperature. The tip life increases exponentially by using lower temperatures. It is also possible to connect the station to a pedal to put the soldering tools directly in the sleep mode when pressed. Several other variables can be set to make work easier. The rework station also has a point-exchange system, which can be used to exchange the soldering tips while they are still hot.

In addition, it is possible to operate the station from a PC, and the station can show graphs of the power and temperature progression on the display of the station and on the PC. The station can work together with a JBC solder robot, and communicate via RS-232. This offers extensive possibilities to automate soldering processes.

Soldering irons

The JBC NASE-2C comes with two soldering irons, the JBC AN115-A adjustable nano tweezer , and the JBC NT115-A nano soldering iron .
The AN115-A Adjustable Nano Tweezers is ideal for applying and removing SMD components. The tweezers has a single-axis system. This makes it easier to use the tweezers for precise applications. With a screw on top of the soldering iron, the two soldering tips can be aligned vertically so they always touch each other perfectly.
The NT115-A Nano Handle is also specially designed for SMD soldering. It is a slim soldering iron with a soft grip. The points belonging to this soldering iron are all very small, up to a diameter of 0.1 mm. With this small diameter, soldering to SMD becomes easy. The soldering iron offers a cable with a length of 1.2 meters which prevents obstructions during working. Tips for this handle can be found via the blue button at the bottom of this page.
