Details

The compact Hakko FX-888D soldering station is the digital successor to the analogue FX-888 soldering station. Hakko is known for the excellent build quality of their products and that is also the case with this soldering station. Digitalisation also makes it possible to add functionality in the form of a digital calibration, five adjustable presets and password protection (to prevent unwanted temperature violations in production or educational environments).

Like all our other Hakko products, this is a 100% original Hakko product that is suitable for 220/230V and has a European plug. Soldering tips suitable for this soldering station are the Hakko T18 soldering tips. You can find these tips via the blue button at the bottom of this page.

The Hakko FX-8804 SMD tweezer can be bought separately and used on this soldering station.

In my opinion beats many more expensive Weller or Ersa stations. Very satisfied with it. It has funky look but i like it.

Small compact station that does a really nice job.

- Quality feel
- Heats up very fast.
- Can even go down to 50C temperature (in case you want to use it with T18 tips to write/carve in plastic).

Tip: To get into the setting menu, hold down the "Up" button while turning on the station.

Hakko is just that good of a brand. You can blindly trust them. This station is a breeze to work with, got tons of tips to exchange, solid and robust built. Plus already comes with sponge and brass wool.

Would recommend this to anyone, beginners and pros. Start learning with a good tool.
