GW Instek PEL-3041 electronic load

The GW Instek PEL-3041 belongs to the PEL-3000 series and has a power of 350W. The output voltage is 1.5-150V and the output current is 70A.

The GW Instek PEL-3000 series are high precision programmable DC loads, suitable for various applications. A useful feature of these electronic loads is that they can be connected with multiple parallel electronic loads, which increases the maximum power. This makes the solution scalable. The loads can be connected with up to 5 loads of the same model. For example, The PEL-3111 can be connected with the 'booster' PEL-3211 to reach a maximum power of 9450W. In this way, hardware upgrades do not always have to replace the hardware, which makes upgrading cheaper.

The PEL-3000 series electronic loads have various operating modes. They can be used in constant current (CC), constant resistance, (CR), constant voltage (CV) and constant power (CP) mode. It is also possible to switch on CC+CV, CR+CV and CP+CV modes. This allows the loads to automatically switch between modes when a threshold is exceeded.

Furthermore, the loads can be programmed. They can vary in 3 ways over time. A static mode, in which they take a value for a longer period of time. A dynamic mode, in which they switch between two settings, or a sequence mode, in which 1000 steps can be programmed that are repeated each time.

The electronic loads are protected in various ways. With adjustable OCP, OVP, OPP, and UVP safety can be guaranteed. There is also a temperature limit, which automatically switches off the load when it exceeds this limit.
